Plan your session
The Champ-de-Mars gives you the Eiffel Tower from below and from afar, across a long line of lawns and trees. It suits natural, unposed sessions: sitting on the grass, walking along the alleys, a picnic at sunset.
The tree-lined side paths stay quieter than the central lawns, and the view from the far end, near the École Militaire, shows the whole tower in one frame.

About this spot
Is the Champ-de-Mars good for family photos?
Very. Children can run on the lawns, and the open space makes relaxed, spontaneous pictures easy.
When is the light best?
In the early morning and in the hour before sunset, when the tower catches warm light.
