Terms of use

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms govern the use of Paris Photographers, in the mobile app and on the website app.parisphotographers.app (together, "the service"). By using the service, you accept them.

1. Who we are

The service is published by GLILAB, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €1,000, registered under RCS Créteil 830 312 690, with its registered office at 4 rue d'Estienne d'Orves, 94300 Vincennes, France. Contact: [email protected].

2. The service

  • Paris Photographers is a free directory of photographers working in Paris.
  • You can browse profiles and send a contact request without creating an account.
  • We take no commission and play no part in the service itself: the quote, the contract, the payment and the shoot are agreed directly between you and the photographer. GLILAB is not a party to that contract.
  • The service is free. Your internet connection costs remain your own. We do our best to keep it running at all times, without being able to guarantee it (maintenance, outages, force majeure).

3. Accounts

  • A client account is optional: it keeps your favorites on all your devices and lets you follow the requests you sent.
  • You can sign in with email, Apple or Google. You agree to use a valid email address and to keep your sign-in details confidential.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app ("Delete my account"). Your profile leaves the directory at once and the account is erased 30 days later: until then, signing in again cancels the deletion.
  • We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms, after telling you why, except in urgent cases (fraud, clearly illegal content).

4. Photographers

  • Photographer accounts are reserved for adults who work as professional photographers (sole trader, micro-business or company).
  • The information in your profile (name, description, specialties, indicative prices, locations, links) must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Our team reviews every profile before it is published. We may refuse, hide or remove a profile that breaches these terms, and we tell you why.
  • An approved profile stays online when you edit it: our team checks the changes afterwards. You can hide your profile at any time from your space, during holidays for instance.
  • The "Verified" badge means we checked your professional activity, including your SIRET number with INSEE (the French business registry) and your Instagram account. It does not guarantee the quality of your work.
  • You agree to answer requests in good faith and to use visitors' contact details only to reply to them: no marketing, no resale.

5. Your photos and texts

  • You keep ownership of your photos and texts.
  • You guarantee that you hold the rights to them and have the consent of any recognizable person to publish them (image rights).
  • You grant GLILAB, free of charge, on a non-exclusive and worldwide basis, for as long as your profile is published, the right to store, reproduce, resize and display this content in the service, and to use it, credited with your name, to present Paris Photographers on its own channels (social media, store listings, website). You can object to this promotional use at any time by writing to us.
  • A deleted photo, or a deleted account, disappears from the service.

6. Contact requests

  • Your request is sent to the chosen photographer with your name, the email address and, if you give it, the phone number you enter, so they can reply: make sure they are correct. A copy of your request is sent to you by email.
  • Requests must be genuine. Spam, commercial solicitation, impersonation and offensive messages are forbidden.

7. Prohibited content and reporting

  • Prohibited content includes: illegal, hateful, violent or pornographic content, content that infringes other people's rights (copyright, image rights, privacy), fake profiles and misleading information.
  • To report a profile, use the "Report this profile" link on every profile, or write to [email protected] with the profile concerned and the reason for your report. We review every report promptly and may remove the content or suspend the account. The reported photographer does not know who reported them.
  • If we remove any of your content, we tell you why. You can challenge the decision by replying to our message.
  • This address is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.

8. How profiles are ranked

Featured profiles appear first: our team selects them free of charge, for the quality and variety of their portfolios. Other profiles appear in a shuffled order that changes every day, so each one gets its turn at the top. You can also sort them by price. Filters (specialty, language, budget, location) are the ones you choose. No photographer can pay for a better position.

9. Liability

Profiles are written by the photographers, under their own responsibility. GLILAB does not guarantee the availability, quality or price of their services and is not responsible for any dispute between a client and a photographer. Within the limits set by law, we are only liable in case of fault on our part.

10. Intellectual property

The Paris Photographers name, design, texts and code belong to GLILAB. Profile photos belong to their photographers. Any reproduction without permission is forbidden.

11. Personal data

How we use your data is described in the privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For any significant change, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If a problem arises, please write to [email protected] first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts; between professionals, before the courts of the place of GLILAB's registered office.

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.
